For many people these days, it is all too easy to gain a lot of weight in a short period of time, and yet with increasing demands on our time, money, and energy, it is becoming increasingly difficult to lose a significant amount of weight quickly. Well, fear not my friend, as I am going to describe in this article the easiest and most effective way to lose 10 pounds in a week that I know of, and it definitely works like a charm!
This method of rapid weight loss has worked for me on several occasions. Put it to use and you will see results before you know it!
OK, so I know you are busy and attention spans these days are short, so I am going to give you the bare bones system that you need to put into place to lose weight very, very quickly.
Step 1: Write a Weight Loss Goal
This is the part that most people overlook and never use, and yet it is terribly important if you want to achieve any real weight loss results. This is the step that will give you that natural, effortless motivation that most people complain they never have.
The thing is, we are all naturally lazy as people. It’s just a fact. And do you know what the only thing that is capable of overcoming our natural, ingrained laziness? Writing a goal!
So, don’t overthink it. Just grab a piece of paper right now, and write out a weight loss goal. Something like this:
“By October 30th, I will lose 10 pounds, and reach my goal weight of 175.”
Then, just look at it once in the morning and once before bed. That’s all you need to do to get super motivated to carry out the next steps of the system!
Step 2: Resolve to Not Eat Before 10am or After 7pm
This is the part that will really make you drop the pounds extra fast. Simply resolve to not eat until 10am in the morning, then you can eat normally between 10am and 7pm. When I say eat normally, I mean to eat good, healthy foods, but you can also eat small portions of junk foods or drink alcohol during this time period, as long as its only about 10-20% of your diet, with the rest being good stuff.
Then, don’t eat after 7pm, until 10am the next morning. Just by doing that, which equates to going without food for 15 hours straight (half of which is spent sleeping, so it isn’t hard) the pounds will just melt off, plus you’ll actually feel a lot better.
Just by doing this step and nothing else, you can (potentially) lose 10 pounds in a week!
Step 3: Work Out a Little and Eat Well
This step is the 3rd and final step in the system. Everyone makes this part complicated, and if you want to do it at an optimum level, then you can go more in depth with it, but the basics will work fine.
Do one or two 30 minute cardio sessions during the week. Do a few sets of push-ups, curls, pull-ups, crunches, or whatever, every other day. Go for some long walks. Just do something every other day. Don’t overthink it, just do it, even if its just 20 pushups.
With eating, don’t overthink it either. Just don’t eat before 10am or after 7pm. Eat complex carbs instead of ‘white’ carbs. Eat a little less of everything. Try not to eat greasier foods, or sugary ones. Make your breakfast small, your lunch the biggest meal of the day, and eat a smaller dinner high in protein and low in carbs. That really is all you need to follow. Keep it simple!
